When the scouts arrived at Lake Dixon, they pitched tents, played games and settled in atop the hill. In the morning they enjoyed a well cooked meal by the Old Goats patrol under a blanket of mist. After eating breakfast, the scouts hiked down to Lake Dixon and rested by the water. When the scouts got back, they organized into groups to teach the new scouts valuable skills such as first aid and lashing. The scouts cooked and ate dinner, then sat down by the “campfire” to listen to skits. During the campfire patrols each performed skits, and individuals went up to tell stories. Overall, Lake Dixon was a great camp out.
