A Scoutmaster note from Washington DC
Troop,
Greetings from Washington DC. I bet you never knew there was a monument to you – to Boy Scouts – right between the Washington Monument and the White House. I was sure surprised when we accidentally found it today. It was dedicated at the Boy Scout’s 50th anniversary, in 1960.
I’ll see you all when I get back. Enjoy your last few days of summer, and thanks again for a great week at Meriwether.
Mr. Dickson
