Congratulations to Shona for District Award of Merit
Troop, Please join me in congratulating Troop 682’s own Shona Wigley, who just received the District Award of Merit. Mrs. Wigley was one of only three Scouting volunteers in the whole district (Poway, Penasquitos, Scripps Ranch, Mira Mesa, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Sabre Springs) to get the award! In addition to helping 682 and supporting Amy and Caitlin, she is a […]
Congratulations to Jake S, Troop 682’s newest Eagle
Troop 682, Please join me in congratulating Troop 682’s latest Eagle Scout, Jake Salzer. Jake has been a member of 682 for over six years. On June 8th, 2020, despite not being able to meet in person, the troop held a virtual cooking competition. The task was to make an edible batch of pancakes using a mystery ingredient you parent gave you. Fortunately, no First Aid was required throughout the whole meeting! View Pictures on Flickr

Non-school and non-gaming activities for stay-at-home
Scouts, Like most of you, I really want to get out of the house and go camping. But of course we can’t do that right now. It’s not safe for us, and just as important it’s not safe for everyone else either — we don’t want to accidentally infect someone else. So we’ll have to find things to keep us busy […]
Since we couldn’t go camping together, some of our Scouts camped at home – some in the back yard, some in the living room, some under the dining room table. And thre was even some camp cooking going on.
Congratulations to Damian, Troop 682’s newest Eagle Scout
Troop, Please join me in congratulating Damian. He passed his Eagle Board of Review tonight and is now officially an Eagle Scout. It’s well-deserved, and we are all very proud of you. Ordinarily I would share a picture of Damian with the Board members, but of course tonight’s Board was done using Zoom, so no pictures. Best, Mr Dickson
