Campout at Dixon Lake with new scouts

Finally!! We went camping in person!!

The troop’s annual camp out with new Scout was at Lake Dixon on May 22 and 23. Since we had to skip last years event, this was the chance for all of our new Scouts from the past 14-15 months to go camping with the troop in person. The Scouts learned how Troop 682 camps, completed some requirements for Tenderfoot and 2nd Class, and most importantly: Had a lot of fun!!! Of course the trip was a little different from usual, since we were following the remaining COVID guidelines and restrictions. And our Scouts and leaders made it work safely.
